John Gardner carried the Bond franchise forward. I read one
or two of them years ago. They weren't bad. I haven't seen
any new ones recently, but I haven't been looking. My
recollection is that the covers said, "Ian Fleming's James
Bond." Then the name. Then, "By John Gardner." Robert Parker
shared a cover with Raymond Chandler in POODLE SPRINGS and
got top billing, of all things.
