Yeah, I guess his review of DETOUR was substantially
different and more even-handed than I recall from standing
there reading it at the bookstore. If you can rent "Pretty As
A Picture: The Art of David Lynch" it's interesting to hear
Gifford's take on the LOST HIGHWAY screenwriting process --
essentially that it was extremely rushed. I wonder what he
thinks of the movie, and WILD AT HEART for that matter, since
he disliked BLUE VELVET so much.
