I've read two Turow's. One was Burden of Proof, which is more
his stock and trade type book. But the other, PLEADING
GUILTY, was a pleasant change. More of a tongue in cheek
legal "thriller", if you will. The main character is a pretty
amoral individual who tries to get away with stealing money,
bilking clients, etc. If you don't like his Presumed Innocent
and the ilk, you may like Pleading Guilty.
