Hello, all.
>I'm curious about your ages and reading
history.
I'm twenty-five. I discovered I wanted to
be a writer in high school, and discovered I had to read if I
wanted to write in college. Robert Parker was my introduction
to hard-boiled fiction. He wrote books the way I wanted to
write.
Since Parker I've played catch-up in the
genre, reading Hammett, Chandler, Block, and Stark to name a
few. I'm still idealistic enough to believe my name will be
up there, and that's an ideal I don't plan to lose.
