Hi!
I am a poet & grad student at SUNY Buffalo.  I have edited a chapbook
of 'hard-boiled' poetry, a sample of which is at the URL below.

I am a big fan of HARD BOILED, esp. Hammett.  There's a collection of
essays out (1996) called FILM NOIR READER, for fans of film.  I also
want to do PhD work in Hard Boiled Fiction, the best book I've read is
TOUGH GUY WRITERS OF THE 30s.  Was lucky wnough to get a copy from 
WIU Press
