This is from “The Collector,” a very curious two-parter about Taddy Toadmaster, a demented little man who likes to collect things.
“The Collector” was written by Bob Bolling, pencilled by Doug Crane, inked by Rudy Lapick, lettered by Bill Yoshida and coloured by Barry Grossman. It first appeared in Betty #20 (December 1994), but I read it in Betty and Veronica (Jumbo Comics) Double Digest #268 (January 2019).
This is a different “The Collector” than the one where we saw Hiram Lodge in the library, as I posted about a year ago.
