No complaint, but I just thought that group members might find it intriguing that this series consistently used a hockey mask clad protagonist long before Casey Jones or Wild Dog.

This is not your typical PWA/SMP Best First P.I. Novel Contest winner -- it's darker and more disturbing, less beholden to tradition than usual. It has its flaws (the whole "looking for a lost film noir actress" bit is a little too self-referential, a little too cute), but it just may signal a sharp new talent worth watching.
