Jack Taylor series- Ken Bruen
IMO, you will be better to start with the first volume of the series : THE
GUARDS (1999), which is until now the best of this series, certainly for
what concerns the construction of the central character. Very dark,
nihilist, but a real good novel. With a “moral” twist at the end to make one
of the most ambiguous, but resonant, ending of a noir novel I read.
After this one, and it’s only my opinion, the rest does not absolutely need
to be red in the publishing order.
