That is a terrific ending, indeed. I am still smarting that
someone gave the ending away when he saw me reading the
book.
The ending of Val McDermid's A Place of Execution is
marvelous as well. But, I think my al time favorite is from
Ghost of a Flea by James Sallis, which concludes the Lew
Griffin series. I dropped he book when I got to one line in
particular.
