There's a very wide gulf between Bloom's idea that nothing since the Greeks matters (well, maybe Shakespeare) and the pomos you so loathe. And a lot of theories in between are well represented on campuses. Plus, you're basing your conception of the current state of higher education on a 20 year old book.
