Add also Shades of LA, a pretty funny, well-scripted series about an LAPD detective who gets visited by ghosts who assist him in solving cases in which they were somehow connected. It was a syndicated hour that appeared in the 1990-91 season. A near-death situation is what started the slacker-like cop seeing the shades.
