Those of you who've read it: do you think it makes more sense
at the end if you imagine Dunc not as Gores or his stand-in
but as Dan Kearny?
**************** I read it and liked it a lot, but I can't
ring in on anything concerning Kearny. He's one of Gores's
characters, isn't he? Besides Cases, I've only read
Interfaces and the one with climbing in it. My only complaint
with Cases is its episodic nature. If I recall correctly,
it's several of his stories patched together. And like you
say, it's pretty darned dark.
