Just finished this. Another fine recommendation from the rare
birds on this list. Classic noir situation with the
narrator's world crumbling around him. Is he a murderer, even
a mass murderer, or just being framed? It's a short book but
every word is important as the reader gets inside of Jake
Danser's head -- not a pretty place to be.
I enjoyed this even more than Stansberry's Chasing the Dragon
which, as the first in a proposed series, is nowhere near as
dark as The Confession.
Thanks for the recommendation.
