If anyone is worried about their email address being 'out
there', I believe that it is possible to create a profile on
Yahoo that shields your email address from public
display.
Spam-fighting software has improved so much that this is now
less of a problem. I've been able to make use of my older
email address now that the ISP finally installed some
efficient spam-filtering software. I must admit I'd never
thought about being contacted by, er, 'concerned
parties'.
