The other day I dipped into the hugeTBR bookshelf (pile won't
do) and picked up Harold Adams's _The Ditched Blonde_, a
tightly packed PI novel in his Carl Wilcox series. A great
title and an enjoyable couple of hours of old-fashioned pulp
reading. I saw two other Adams novels in the toobee shelf...
I will report back in a year or two (at this rate).
But if you haven't read Adams yet, you must make his
acquaintance. And if somebody tells you that the PI genre is
comatose, don't believe them.
Best,
MrT
