Another post-Marlowe "big agency" op was Harry Tenafly, the hero of a short-lived TV series starring James McEachin.

He was a happily-married suburban dad who'd given up his cop job to work at a higher-paying (and presumably less dangerous) position as a nine-to-fiver at some big LA detective agency.

TENAFLY ran for just a few episodes as part of the N.B.C. MYSTERY MOVIE umbrella.
