<<"Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine" is a reliable
source of
good stories from tough to funny. Lots of early Block,
Westlake, Willeford, Clark Howard as well as the short story
specialists like Jack Ritchie Bryce Walton, and Robert Twohy
(consistently excellent over a long career--anybody know
anything about him)?>>
I know he was (and maybe still is) a successful screenwriter
for TV and film. Thanks for reminding me of this excellent
short-story writer. I recall he won some prizes for his
stories, but he hasn't been properly anthologized yet.
Doug?
Speaking of AHMM: tthe other day I picked up an old issue of
the magazine and what do I find but a novella by our own Jim
Beaver. It was a good read, too. What a small world.

story)
