I'm listening to this non-hardboiled book on tape now. It
features a policeman, as do several of her other books, the
same one in fact. But I wouldn't call this or the other Grant
books I've read by her procedurals. There isn't much
"procedure" in them or even an imaginary effort to portray
police work.
