The other day I picked up a copy of the 1969 MWA short story
anthology, Merchants of Menace. One of the stories is Ron
Goulart's parody of Ross Macdonald and Raymond
Chandler,
"The Peppermint- Stripped Goodbye." I hadn't read it in many
years, but I remembered it as hilarious. It is. It made me
laugh out loud.
