Raven is from This Gun for Sale by Greene. Which I have seen
under slightly different titles. It's one of Greene's
earliest, but, I think, captures very well the grey, meanness
of mid-century Britain. He is a teenage hitman with a hair
lip who kills a politician (SPOILER)
Whilest in the pay of arms companies. I really like the book
and voted for Raven in top 100. Thingy out of Savage Night,
Bigelow???? Is also a deformed hitman who got my vote for the
list (do I have a problem?) All the best y'all
