Check out *Notorious*. Grant does a great, and understated,
job as the tough FBI agent assigned as Ingrid Bergman's
undercover contact. If they'd started making the movies a few
years earlier, he'd probably have been a great James Bond. I
think he'd be acceptable, at the very least, as
Marlowe.
