Charles Williams' 'The Diamond Bikini' was adapted as
"Fantasia chez les Ploucs" -1971- French film treated as a
silly comedy and which was really not on par with the book.
The film title was taken from the title of the French
translation of the novel, published by S鲩e Noire, which is
French slang meaning something like "Frenzy in
Dumbland".
