Hubin doesn't list "Backwood Hussy", so I gather it's not a
crime novel. Hubin also doesn't include the two titles you
mention ("The Invisible Fiend" and the other one). Hawk's
pseudonyms doesn't know McClusky.
It occurs to me that McClusky might've been a pseudonym of
Robert Bloch himself and he has just made all that up. But
then again, why shouldn't this be commonly known? It was just
one interview and in French, right? If Bloch was McClusky,
you would think that he would have commented on that more
openly.
It just sounds, well, too fascinating. Etienne, could you
pass on the place and dates of the interview you
mentioned?
