It happens that last week I came across an issue of
"Australian Author" (magazine) published in 2000 (by ASA I
think- the local writers association) with an overview of
"mystery literature" in Australia. A computer glitch at the
library made I could not read the copy. But I think it could
be a good addition to the information you are looking
for.
