I should preface this by saying I have only read 1.5 books by
willeford. I picked up the woman chaser on a whim at a used
bookstore. I enjoyed it thoroughly...although I found it to
be kind of trashy (or maybe pulpy as someone else here
described one of willeford's earlier books). But still highly
entertaining. I am currently about half way through miami
blues and am enjoying it also. However, at this point, I
think I prefer the woman chaser. I plan to read all of his
books I can lay my hands on but suspect that in the long run,
I may be a closer follower of his early work...
