I'm always glad to see a mention of Charles Williams (the
Amnerican). I've been trying to convince people for years
that he's a really good writer. The paperback originals he
did for Gold Medal and Dell are among the best of their kind,
though some people prefer the hardcover novels, which are
also excellent. One of my favorites is RIVER GIRL, which was
a Gold Medal Giant.
