Re: RARA-AVIS: Non-U.S. Writers, chocolates and various filler...

Sat, 25 Jul 1998 17:34:35 -0400 (EDT) Gores's 32 Cadillacs did indeed feature the Dortmunder Gang, when one of
them steals one of the 32 Cadillacs the DKA gang are repossessing. I
don't know which, if any, Dortmunder novel features this scene.

However, Dead Skip shares a scene with one of the Parker novels Westlake
wrote as Richard Stark. Dead Skip and Plunder Squad share a scene where
Daniel Kearny and Parker meet briefly.

The Pete Corris novels are really good. I think most are out of print
in the US, though, and the few that were reprinted recently were
released in reverse order for some reason. I've been meaning to order
the ones I'm missing from overseas--the book in which Hardy finally
confronts his 6-months-a-year lover (and her husband with whom she
spends the other 6 months) was never printed in the US as far as I know.
