Re: RARA-AVIS: Willeford question

He was a fantastic storyteller, with one of the most remarkable
authorial voices in American literature - his books are full of wry,
menacing, weird insights even on the most mundane things. It's clear now
that his death was an irreparable loss to literature. It's very rare to
find such a combination of intelligence, imagination, and brilliant
technique in one writer.

It would be nice if those old Willeford titles were brought back in
print permanently. Since his death, his reputation has skyrocketed and
he deservedly has more fans than ever.
