Bill, have you read Lawrence Block's Hit Man. It was one of
the few fictions I
have been able to sneak in for a long time, but I think it is
really good. A
totally different Lawrence Block, and I do believe, without
too much of a
spoiler, that the hit man could qualify for a hard-boiled,
although with a few
soft spots here and there. I would definitely recommend this
one to all.
