I don't know if anyone else has read any of the Troy Soos
mysteries
starting with Murder at Fenway Park, but I would consider
this series
hard-boiled. It is about a ballplayer, Mickey Rawlings, who
is a
baseball player in the 1910s. He always seems to get involved
with
murder no matter what team he is playing for. I have read the
first 3
and am starting on the 4th. I think he is an excellent
author, a little
romance, a lot of baseball history, back when baseball was
really tough
to stay in, and good plots. Any other opinions?
