According to BGSU's database, _Detective Short Stories_ was brought out by Manvis Publishers of Chicago from August, 1937 through October, 1943. That's all I know at present--the d.b. says that the magazine is listed in one of the standard pulp indices, so there's probably a complete printed record of its contents.
