It already is, as a matter of fact.  You can switch to it by sending
mail to majordomo@icomm.ca and saying

    unsubscribe rara-avis
    subscribe rara-avis-digest

and then dealing with the confirmation.  The fifth or sixth nightly
digest will get process tonight at 4:00 a.m. EST (11:00 p.m. GMT, I
think).
