Well, I was tempted.

I was in San Francisco last night and saw that Dave, my very good friend, won both a Derringer and a Shamus Award for his short story, "Julius Katz," which was published in Ellery Queen last year. Too bad he wasn't actually there. But Jim Doherty and EQ's editor accepted on his behalf, respectively..

Okay, ya big lug, this time I AM talking about you.
