Winslow is one of my favorites. In a just world, Power of the Dog would have received similar acclaim as American Tabloid. It is really, really good.

I'm reading POWER OF THE DOG right now per recommendations here last week. It's flawlessly written and very realistic. You can't doubt Winslow knows what he's writing about. Very disturbing, powerful story. I'm looking forward to seeing how he resolves the plot.
