POSSIBLE SPOILER
...the fact that it didn't tie into the original case was somewhat disappointing
to me. I loved the book overall, and am a huge Connelly fan, but something just
didn't sit well about that.
Anyone else have similar thoughts or want to tell me why I'm an idiot for
thinking this?
the plot does hinge on a very big coincidence and obviously that was Connelly's intent all along. I can understand the notion that the coincidence didn't have to exist. the author certainly is capable of plotting what appeared to be the root of the story to a more conventional conclusion. I would say that the plot twist of coincidence didn't bother me personally, but I did think about it after finishing the book
