Speaking of guys who owe parts of their careers to Sam Raimi, why not Bill Campbell for McGee?

Bill Paxton, too, for that matter (it's not as if he'd hold out for too much money with the way his career's been going!).

That said, after seeing Leo's tour-de-force as Hughes in THE AVIATOR (he got SCREWED come Oscar time on that one), I'm convinced he can play McGee. Everyone used to make the same knocks on Johnny Depp, come to think of it, and look how his career has taken off in his 40s.

Here's one last other possibility for McGee, not just because the actor in question could do it, but because it'll likely cause Bludis to gnash his teeth and tear his hair: Adrian Brody. Anyone who thinks he couldn't pull it off needs to go watch his performance as Louis Simo in HOLLYWOODLAND.

    Your Mileage May Vary-
