Since I posted about the scarcity of crime/mystery/thriller deals being announced on Publisher's Marketplace a month or so ago, nothing has changed. This week; 2 mystery deals, 0 thriller deals, 15 romance deals. 9-12 months from now the effect of this will be hitting the bookstores as the amount of new crime/mystery/thriller titles will dwindle to a fraction of what we're used to.
