A recent pretty amazing reading that might interest some folks on this list is Bobby Canavale's reading of Richard Price's "Lush Life." Those who have read it can imagine what sort of feat of cross-cultural mimicry it would require to give a decent rendering of the book (and those who haven't read it have really missed out). This is a great example of the sort of revelatory reading that can actually make the book more accessible to readers to more readers.
