    Absolutely Steve.

      Btw, I was reading an article about "Night and the City" last night. The author said the character of Harry Fabian (Richard Widmark)in the film was (paraphrasing) "a rat caught in a maze lined with razor blades." That is a great metaphor for that type of story.
