correct myself, in that MERCURY MYSTERY clearly went over to a more
conventional magazine format a couple of years before the sale of EQMM
by Mercury Press to B. G. Davis, as the cornerstone of his new Davis
Publications (after he quit Ziff-Davis, which managed to last as a
brand name into the '90s, even if it had given up on fiction magazines
in 1965, and on crime and related adventure magazines earlier)
