Any positive comparison to Thomas Cook is a winner for me. Were it not
for a used copy of Evidence Of Blood many years ago, I may not have
ever read Ellroy, who begat Price, who begat Connelly, etc.
Heck, I'd probably be posting on literary boards and occasionally
checking out the authors who "transcend the genre."
