I read SEVEN SLAYERS last year. I really liked it, but it's so lean and taut that bits of it almost read like some sort of Gertrude Stein prose poem (and I mean that in a good way).
SEVEN SLAYERS is, for me, one where style truly wins out over narrative. I have not yet read FAST ONE; how story-driven is it?
