The only Whittington I've read was Ticket to Hell, which I loved.
I haven't read any Prather yet, but have been looking forward to for some time now.
The copy of Dan Marlowe's Name of the Game that I bought is, according to the title, the "revised edition." Funny that a crime novel has a "revised edition," as if it were an academic textbook. Perhaps for crime/noir writers, Name of the Game is a textbook of sorts.
The NYC Collectable Paperback & Pulp Fiction Expo is an annual show. This year was the 20th. I'm sure if you contact Gryphon Books, they'll put you on the mailing list for next year's http://gryphonbooks.com/
