Prosthetics must have held a special fascination for Bellem,
then. In BLUE MURDER the first guy Pizzarello shot, a doctor
armed with an automatic, also had a prosthetic leg which held
Duke's bullets and gave the police ballistics that implied in
some very complicated way that he'd killed people later in
the story. Very strange writer in my opinion.
