And of course we all during the 50s ans 60s
bought Playboy (US editionࠦirst for the quality of its
articles and fiction...
What I remember also is that besides crime
authors and their short stories, there were a lot of
interseting interviews, of authors and others, that could be
of interest for the Avians; they gave voice to creators and
authors that were not really welcome in the mainstream
publications of the time.

The actual text is not, but there are page tags that are
searchable. So you can search for a story title or author.
You could, for example, search for all the stories by Roald
Dahl. When you open the page that a sotry or article is on,
the jump pages appear on the navigation bar at the top, so
you can go immediately to the next page of the story without
having to flip through each page to get there.
This might seem to be off-topic, but the magazine is a
treasure trove of good crime stories, more so than any
anthology at the same price.
