Yes. That film. I have to say that it's one of the best films
I've ever seen. DePalma's Scarface is a cartoon next to City
of God. It is all of the things you say about it, yet, it
lacks the manipulation and contrivances that usually appear
in films of that type. It's not a film about society -- and
more importantly -- it's not a film about film. It's a film
about what it's about and that is really rare.
