I think maybe I would. DePalma just seems to bring out the
worst performance in actors. It's as if they put on their
B-movie acts. I avoid DePalma movies when I can. Somethimes
I'll start watching a movie on TV not knowing it's
DePalma--this happened as recently as a couple of days
ago--and saying something to myself like I don't remember
Nicolas Cage being quite this bad an actor. Then I realize
that all the actors are turning in lousy performances and
then there's the bad Hitchcock shots and cuts and then it
starts smelling like a DePalma flick and I flip the channel.
Don't think I've ever seen one all the way through.
