Funny you should mention that one -- I just read that a
year-and-a-half ago or so, and was likewise impressed with
it. I emailed Tucker about it, and we talked briefly about
the book. I was set to send my copy to him for signing at one
point, but got distracted and forgot about it...and several
months later he passed away.
While I haven't read a large number of his works, what I've
read has been consistently entertaining. But the TLLS remains
far and above my favorite of his novels.
