I'm a TV Dexter fan, but I do agree with the comment about
the seemingly endless length of the opening credit sequence.
Plus there's something about it that seemed off. I finally
realized what it was. We see closeups of Dexter nicking
himself while shaving, drops of bright red blood being
blotted by a snip of toilet paper. But Dexter is never
clean-shaven. Always has that day-old stubble. I've always
wondered how series leads from the era of Miami Vice to
Dexter have managed to maintain that one-day stubble. Must
take a lot of concentration. Or maybe a testosterone
adjustment.
