Exactly, when you're describing science fiction. The mislabeling of fantasy or horror as "science fiction" is another matter, much, as you noted previously, as when suspense or horror fiction is mislabeled "mystery"...when done casually, it's just sloppy; done with full intent, one has to wonder why do so (other than commercial pressures, the usual reason, or ignorance, number two with a bullet).
